Coloring in Quarantine
Art has been there to help and guide me through most moments in my life. When I’ve gone through challenges, Art and family pulled me through. Yet, when you find yourself facing one of those dark moments, very often you just need to be alone for a while. You either want to avoid the subject or find an alternate way of dealing with it … that is when Art has helped me the most.
For those of you in quarantine, I’m sharing these outlines of my paintings as a gift to those who would like to paint or draw. This is for you, if you want to create, but are staring at a blank sheet of paper (or canvas). It is also for those who are tired of doodling, or simply don’t have an idea of what to do.
I will admit, I’m not an expert with Photoshop, and am just learning my way through Squarespace. I will need to play around a bit more with it to maybe get clearer outlines and figure out how to make my image easier to download. But if it helps, I don’t want to put it off until I feel its perfect. I’m putting it out there, in case it brings a smile to who ever is in need of it. For now, all you need to do is drag or screen shot the image to your desktop and print it.
The page is for your personal use to print, draw, paint on, get creative… and when you are done, please send me a picture! I want to know whether this idea is helpful to anyone for themselves or for their kids. Please drop me a line and let me know what you think, if you like it I will edit more pictures of my paintings for you.
